We can accept intra- oral scans from any third party scanner provided they are sent in STL format. Intra-oral scanners have revolutionised impression taking.

No scanner? No problem!

We are able to accept manual putty and wash impressions. We will convert the plaster models into a 3D representation of the patients' dentition using our in-house scanner.

Fast and reliable, our scanner produces highly detailed digital copies of the plaster models. Our comprehensive clear aligner software provides us with a range of measurements to quickly gather crucial information that is required for successful treatment planning.

3D Printing

Powered by Figure 4 technology, our 3D printing equipment facilitates high-speed printing for production of dental appliances. This revolutionary solution features an industry-defining value proposition that combines best-in-class speed and performance.

Figure 4 enables high-speed digital manufacturing to compliments traditional production methods, providing the accuracy, reliability, repeatability.

We use cutting-edge laser projector 3D printers that print models with a much smoother and detailed surface finish than those produced by other plastic 3D printing technologies. This enables us to design crystal clear aligners with less surface texture.

At 50 micron, our 3D models are printed at approximately 2 times higher quality than some of the leading aligner brands. Not only will UltraClearAlign fit better but it will also be harder to detect due to its crystal-clear appearance which has been achieved from a smoother 3D printed model.

The UltraClearAlign orthodontic treatment planning software has the capability to digitally segment teeth, simulate tooth extractions and move teeth to create a virtual setup. IPR can be simulated and calculated with our software and previewed through our interactive treatment plan review portal. This is a visual representation of the dentition and allows the patient to preview the final proposed position of their planned clear aligner therapy. The digital 3D models can also be used as treatment education tool for patients throughout their aligner journey. With the option of viewing each sub set-up, the patient can visualise where their teeth should be positioned in comparison to the alignment achieved with the current active aligner. This is a great way to check not only how the treatment is tracking but also provide patient motivation to continue wearing the aligners as directed.

Aligners

All aligners are created using thermoforming equipment using compressed air to create an optimal fitting aligner. The aligner material we use is clear-aligner-specific, ultrathin and highly flexible (with memory flexibility and added strength). Aligners are individually imprinted with a number to allow easy identification of each aligner of the series.
